KITAS (Limited Stay Permit) for Dependents & Family Members. Family Kitas is preceded by the C317 index to diversify it from other types of KITAS.

This type of KITAS is issued to the dependent family members (spouse and/or children under 18 years of age) of main KITAS holders. So, if your spouse has a Work KITAS, then they can sponsor your KITAS application.

It is also issued to the foreign spouses of Indonesian citizens.

Are eligible to apply for this permit: 

1.  Who is married to Indonesian citizen
2. Who already have a working KITAS can apply for a Family KITAS to their family ( spouse and children) to join them in Indonesia
3. Children born from a legal marriage with an Indonesian citizen

The purpose of this permit is only for a limited stay, not for work.

Requirements for foreigners joining an Indonesian spouse

• Scan color of passport (with minimum validity of 18 months)
• Scan color of Indonesian ID Card (KTP) and Family Register (Kartu Keluarga) of Indonesian spouse ( updated status “Married”)
• Birth Certificate (Akte Kelahiran)
• Scan color of marriage certificate (Buku Nikah/Akta Perkawinan)
• Scan color of CNI ( certificate no impediment from Applicant )  if marriage in Indonesia
• Scan color of last three months Bank of funds of Indonesian Spouse (Minimum US$ 1500 or equivalent; usually bank statement)
• NPWP Istri – Number Tax Index Indonesia of Sponsor

Requirements for Children of Indonesian mother/father:

• Application Letter and Sponsor Letter signed on the stamp duty
• Scan color of passport with a minimum validity of 18 months for a 1-year stay permit
• Scan color Bank statement with a minimum balance of US$ 1,500 of Indonesian father/mother
• Scan color of Family Registration Certificate/KK (kartu keluarga)
• Scan color of marriage certificate parent
• Scan color of birth certificate of children
• Scan color of Indonesian parent’s ID Card/KTP

Requirements for the Following spouse (Dependent Visa)  Temporary/Permanent (ITAS/ITAP) Stay Permit Holder:

• Application Letter from the spouse to Directorate of Immigration
• Sponsor Letter signed on the stamp duty
• Scan color of passport with minimum validity of 18 months for 1-year stay permit
• Bank statement with minimum balance of US$ 1,500
• Copy of marriage certificate
• Copy of spouse’s ITAS/ITAP

Requirements for Children of Foreigners of ITAS/ITAP holder (under 18 years old and unmarried):

• Application Letter from the spouse to Directorate of Immigration
• Sponsor Letter signed on the stamp duty
• Copy of passport with a minimum validity of 18 months for a 1-year stay permit
• Bank statement with a minimum balance of US$ 1,500
• Copy of marriage certificate
• Copy of family registration certificate
• Copy of birth certificate
• Copy of parents’ ITAS/ITAP
